History improved by income protection insurance

My small town has a lot to be grateful for.  One of the most important figures in our local history is the insurance agent who explained the importance of income protection insurance and how it worked.  This seemed like a minor concern at the time, but it rapidly increased in importance as one then another of the more prominent members of the town was injured on the job.  Their families were grateful that they were insured because they knew that they would need the tax free benefits to help them through the difficult time between injury and recovery. They knew that the benefits would stop once the insured was able to return to work, but that was all right with everyone involved. Everyone in town was so grateful to the insurance agent that the unanimous decision was made for a statue to be erected in honor of the knowledge and information he had brought to all of them.
